Rural and Agri-Industrial Wastes: valorization in new and innovative products?

The Workshop has been organized inside of Festival of Science placed in Fermo. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the ENABLING Project, with particular attention to the potentiality of most rural and agro-industrial wastes that could give to strengththe circular economy. During the first session, the introduction of Enabling Project and most of the interesting data relating to the potential biomass for BBPs and promising first Best Practices at the EU level has been shown, followed by a more detailed explanation about the potentiality of biomass from Norway regions. The Researcher Otto Andersen by Vestlandsforsking Institute of Norway (Partner of Enabling) has also introduced the synergy created with Italian stakeholder "Montani Institute "throughout to host their student' group, during September 2018.At last, the students hosted told own research experience about the valorization of agro-industrial wastes for new BBPs during their study visit at Vestlandsforsking Institute of Norway.

Thanks to the collaboration among WNRI and ITABIA partners with Italian stakeholders a study visit in Norway during September 2018. That "twinning" has made possible the strengthening of synergies for creating a concrete "European Enabling Community".


The workshop organized by the Montani Institute of Fermo, (Stakeholder of Enabling Project) ITABIA and Vestlandsforsking Institute of Norway (Enabling Partner).The workshop was the opportunity to create more synergy with the research sector and the private sector, as well as to let inform the chamber of commerce about the Enabling actions.
