Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter “Policy”) is drafted pursuant to art. 13 EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation”) in order to let you know our privacy policy, to understand how your personal information is handled when you use our website www.enabling-project.com (hereafter collectively "Site"), and, where appropriate, to expressly and consciously consent to the processing of your personal data. This Policy contains important information about personal data that are collected when visiting this Site as a user and it describes the ways in which such data are used. Using this Site, you consent to this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use this Site.

This Policy is given in observance of the normative in force EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) regarding the protection of personal data and exclusively with reference to processing the personal data of visitors to the Site.

 

 1. DATA CONTROLLER

CORE will be Responsible for processing the data on behalf of the Enabling Project’s Consortium (“us”, “we”, or “our”). The Site is managed by CORE, who processes among other Officiators the Data on behalf of Enabling Consortium.

2. DEFINITION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data, as used in this Policy and defined by Article 4(1) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, whether individual or professional such as name, postal address, e-mail address, that can be used to identify the identity of a customer or visitor/user to the Site.

 

3. DEFINITION OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Processing of Personal Data, as defined by Article 4(2) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is the collection, organization, storage, adaptation, modification, retrieval, search of information, use, transmission to third parties, dissemination, restriction, deletion and destruction of Personal Data.

We do not make decisions, nor do we create profiles based on automated processing of your data. 

 

4. SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

The processing we intend to carry out, with your specific consent where necessary, has the following purposes:

To allow the provision of the services requested by you, namely: downloading of documentation or programs

To respond to requests for assistance or information;

To disseminate, publish information and promotional initiatives

To fulfil any legal obligations.

 

5.LEGAL BASIS AND MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE PROCESSING

The legal basis for processing Personal Data for the purposes set out in Section 3 (i) (ii) (iii) is art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulations as the processing is necessary for the provision of the services or for the response to requests from the interested party.

The purpose set out in section 3.(iv) represents a legitimate processing of Personal Data pursuant to art. 6(1)(c) of the Regulations.

 

6. PERSONAL DATA THAT WE COLLECT

Following the navigation of the Site, we will process personal data that may consist of an identifier such as the name, an identification number, an online ID or one or more elements characteristic of your economic, cultural or social identity suitable to make the interested party identified or identifiable (hereafter only "PersonalData").

The Personal Data processed through the Site are as follows:

a. Navigation data

During their normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected with the intention of linking it to an identifiable user, but, by its own very nature, could lead to the identification of users by processing it in association with data held by third parties. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by persons who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and computer environment. These data are only used to obtain anonymous statistical information about Site usage and to check its correct functioning; they are deleted immediately after having fulfilled the aforementioned scope of processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site.

b. Data provided voluntarily by the interested party

In the use of some Site Services, Personal Data may be processed by third parties sent by you. With respect to these hypotheses, you are the independent data controller, assuming all the legal obligations and responsibilities. In this sense, you are conferred with the widest indemnity with respect to any objection, claim, request for compensation for damage from processing, etc. that should reach the owner from third parties whose personal data have been processed through your spontaneous submission in violation of the rules on the protection of applicable personal data .In any case, if you provide or otherwise process Personal Data of third parties in the use of the Site, you guarantee from now on - assuming all related liability - that this particular hypothesis of processing is based on an appropriate legal basis pursuant to art. 6 of the Regulations that legitimises the processing of the information.

7. DATA RECIPIENTS

Your Personal Data may be shared, for the purposes referred to in Section 3 above, with:

a. Subjects that typically act as data controllers, that is: i) persons, companies or professional firms that provide Datalogic assistance and advice in accounting, administrative, legal, tax, financial and credit recovery matters relating to the provision of the Services; ii) subjects with whom it is necessary to interact for the provision of the Services (for example hosting providers) or iii) subjects delegated to perform technical maintenance activities (including maintenance of network equipment and electronic communications networks); (collectively "Recipients");

b. Subjects, bodies or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your personal data in accordance with the provisions of law or orders of the authorities;

c. Persons authorised to process Personal Data necessary to carry out activities strictly related to the provision of the Services, whether they are committed to confidentiality or have an adequate legal obligation of confidentiality, as well as employees of companies belonging to the Enabling Consortium.

Some of your Personal Data may eventually be disseminated via publication on the Site for the purposes set out in section 3. iv)

 

8. SENDING ABROAD

We do not send your data outside the European Union (EU). Your Personal Data is stored and processed only within the EU.

 

9. STORAGE OF DATA - TIME OF DELETION

The data provided by you will be retained/stored by us only for as long as it is required to fulfill the purpose for which you have communicated your data to us and in compliance with the applicable laws.

In particular, your data is retained by obtaining the relevant consent, which applies to you voluntarily granting it or if we have a legal obligation or a legitimate interest in doing so and after you have become aware of the Policy Privacy Terms posted on our homepage (www.enabling-project.com) and until you recall your consent, for example, by sending us a relevant request to the Project’s mail.

We restrict access to your data to those who need to use it for that purpose.

 

10. DATA SECURITY

We are committed to protecting your Personal Data. We have taken appropriate organizational and technical measures to secure and protect your data from any form of accidental or fraudulent processing.

 

These measures shall be reviewed and amended as necessary.

The processing of your Data in any way is only allowed to our authorized persons, employees and associates solely for the purposes stated above.

 

11. YOUR RIGHTS AS THE SUBJECT OF THE DATA

A.   You have access to your personal data: This means you have the right to be informed by us if we process your data. If we process any stored data you may ask to be informed about the purpose of the processing, the type of data we keep, who we give it to, how long we store it, whether it is automated to make decisions, but also about your other rights, such as correcting, deleting data, limiting processing and submitting a complaint to the Data Protection Authority.

B.    You have the right to correct inaccurate personal data: If you find that there is an error in any personal data we have in our possession, you can request for it to be corrected.

C.   You have the right to delete / the right to oblivion: You may ask us to delete your data if it is no longer necessary for the above-mentioned processing purposes or you wish to withdraw your consent if this is the only legal basis.

D.   You have the right to transfer your data: You may ask us to receive in a readable form the data you have provided or ask us to forward it to another person responsible for data processing.

E.    You have the right to restrict your processing. You can ask us to restrict your data processing for as long as your processing objection is pending.

F.    You have the right to object to the processing of your data: You may oppose the processing of your data or obtain your consent and we will stop processing your data unless there are other compelling and legitimate reasons that prevail over your right.

13. HOW TO APPLY YOUR RIGHTS

For these purposes, your request should be addressed in writing to CORE INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY OE (“CORE”) based in Greece, Dellagramatika 5, 34100 Chalkida with a branch in Athens, 85 Kallirois, 11745 at e-mail: secretary@core-innovation.com.

You have the right to file a complaint with the competent Personal Data Protection Authority if you believe that your processing of your Personal Data violates the applicable national and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data.

 

14. WHEN DO WE REPLY

We will respond to your requests free of charge, without delay, and in any case within (1) one month after we receive your request. However, if your request is complex or there is a large number of requests, we will notify you within one month if we need to take another two (2) months extension within which we will respond to you.

 

15. APPLICABLE LAW

We process your Data in accordance with the General Personal Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EU and in general the current national and European legal and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data.

 

16. MODIFICATION OF THIS POLICY

We will update this Policy whenever necessary. If there are any significant changes to the Policy or the way we use your Personal Information, we will notify you either by posting a notice at a prominent point before the changes take effect or in any other appropriate manner. We encourage you to read this Policy at regular intervals to know how your Data is protected.
