The workshop was organized by ITABIA in collaboration with ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development).

The aim was exchanging experiences between the ENABLING Project and the ICESP Platform.

The European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee have promoted the launch of the European Stakeholder Platform for the circular economy - ECESP (European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform). The creation of an initiative mirroring the European one was initiated by ENEA with the establishment of the Italian Platform for Circular Economy actors - ICESP (Italian Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform). ICESP's interest obviously also includes the biobased industry and the objectives of the Platform refer in many ways to those of the Enabiling Project;

Τhese are:

• Promote the dissemination of knowledge.
• Promote dialogue and possible synergies between the Italian actors of the initiatives.
• Mapping Italian good practices.
• Promote the integration of initiatives at the Italian level.
• Create a permanent operational tool that can facilitate cross-sectoral dialogue and interactions.
• Spreading Italian good practices in the field of circular economy (cultural, social and business models).

The workshop was attended by 11 participants and was held in Italian.
