The workshop was conducted by EEE in the premises of the Austrian chamber of commerce. Main topics were:

• Introduction to the new bioeconomy strategy of the EU

• The ENABLING BBP project, aims and activities

• Best practice examples from the project

• Potentials for BBPs in the region

• Cooperation potentials between industry and agriculture, taking into account the small-scale structure of trade and agriculture in Austria

The workshop ended up in a discussion, how to spread the information and to create an impulse in the regional economy, since the topic wasn´t an issue in the last decades.

It was decided to make another workshop with representatives of the “young economy”, which is an association of young and innovative entrepreneurs, in the winter months of 2019/2020. Furthermore, the participants are periodically updated on the development of the project
