Innovation workshop for upgrading the agriculture in the Galilee

 
 

The conference was directed on building and maintaining the relationship with stakeholders to develop a join vision on economic development of the agriculture, including uses of organic wastes and new approaches for bioeconomy. It included farmers, start-ups personnel, mayors from the Galilee and many people from over Israel who came to listen to the approach to innovation at the Galilee.

We shared our goals for upgrading the agriculture in the Galilee and the needs for regional economic development. Over 550 people attended this meeting. It was important to present ideas and mainly listen to the stakeholders - their interests, challenges in agriculture, and their interests.

We have invited researchers from MIGAL and other universities. It is important for us to present ideas and mainly listen to the stakeholders - their interests, challenges in agriculture, and their interests.

In this context, the issues of waste utilization from the Galilee industry were discussed. The main uses, such as using mango kernels to make oil, apple waste that will use by the growing food Tec industry in the Galilee and more. Some of the participants contacted us afterwards in order to examine some possibilities for implementing ideas presented during this conference.
